Story Summary
Twenty-two year old Jeremy Moore or Jamie as he prefers to be called struggles with life since birth. Being an orphan, he is at the mercy of his foster uncle who takes pity on him and adopts him, only to make him work at his small diner. After his death, Jamie has to sell everything to pay off the debt that he left Jamie with. Unloved, penniless and disturbed, Jamie tries to end his wretched life when he meets Josh Fischer. The two men become best friends and Jamie lives happily at Josh's house till he sees Josh's hot cousin sister Ember Fischer. Jamie feels attracted to her and likes her immensely. After a drunken mishap, Ember returns home. Jamie feels guilty and tries to take his life but Josh saves him and sends him to a rehabilitation center for therapy.
What happens when Jamie recovers and goes in search of Ember to Fordsville?
He has a life-threatening accident on the way to Fordsville and is saved by a young nineteen year old nursing student Angelia Evans. She nurses him to health. What would he do when he falls in love with Angelia? Can he confess his feelings or will he be scared of rejection again when Angelia finds out about his dark past.
