Nine Months Later

"With each passing day Ajax looks so much like you," gushed Athena, staring lovingly at her one month old baby boy, Ajax.

Troy grinned. "He's quite a handsome dude, isn't he?" He asked with a smug expression on his face.

"But his eyes are not like Troy's. It's a shade more brown than green, it's a darker shade of hazel," said Sally Wagner, holding Ajax in her arms.

After a disastrous wedding night at the apartment when Athena was hounded by thoughts of Jessica, they had left  for their honeymoon to Greece. On returning, Troy had sold off thw apartment and permanently moved into Troy's parents' home making them the happiest parents alive. Although the apartment had awesome views but Athena couldn't live there without being hounded by Jessica's memories.

Soon Athena discovered that she was three weeks pregnant. The next few months had been a roller coaster ride for them. Troy and his parents had been very supportive and had looked after her with so much care as if she was the most precious person for the whole family. Troy or his mom had taken her for regular checkups, a trained attendant visited her every day to exercise her. They actually pampered her. Troy appointed a nanny for Ajax who looked after him very well.

The door opened and Brandon walked inside with a heavily pregnant Camilla. Her delivery was next week and Brandon was extremely tensed. They had married two weeks after them at the same venue as them. Troy's dad had made all the arrangements. Brandon and Camilla had been a permanent fixture in their lives just like Laurence, Arianna and their children.

"Aah, Camilla, be careful. Come and sit with me, dear," said Troy's mom.

"Ajax is staring at me, Athena. He's started recognizing me, it seems, " gushed a happy Camilla as she went to sit beside Troy's mom and Ajax. Athena and she had grown very close to one another in the last nine months, almost like best friends which made Brandon very jealous.

"He has started recognizing me since the day he was born," said Brandon, doing a silly dance in front of Ajax who frowned at him. They all rolled their eyes and laughed when Camilla's face winced at the excruciating pain that shot through her body.

"Brand, your daughter, Anthea's pushing out," said Camilla with horror.

Brandon stilled and stood like a statue. "Right now?" He asked with a perplexed look on his face. Troy hurried to get to his car.

"Come on Brand, we need to get Camilla to the hospital right now. I'll drive you both," said Troy, who was now experienced, having gone through a similar situation just a month back. Troy's dad and Brandon helped Camilla to Troy's car and they drove her to the hospital.

After four hours a beautiful baby girl, Anthea was born. The moment she was born, her beautiful blue eyes looked at everyone and she smiled radiantly when they brought her outside the delivery room.

"Wow, she's stunning, Brand!" Exclaimed Troy. They had no idea why they named their children after Greek mythological characters but they did. Maybe destiny had some hand in it. Nevertheless an ecstatic Brandon and Camilla went home after two days with Anthea. It was the happiest day of their lives too.

Athena had been promoted at work and she had started pursuing her masters degree too, specializing in the human form. She had found her parents pictures amongst granny's old albums and had been sketching them enthusiastically. Troy thought they were masterpieces. So when at his encouragement she showed them to her supervisor, he was over the moon with excitement. They named the collection of fifteen pieces after her parents and uploaded them on their website.

In fifteen days, Athena got a surprising amount of money as someone wanted to buy all the art pieces. Was it Troy or Brandon? Athena spoke to Troy but he looked equally surprised. Even Brandon fell from the chair hearing it. Who would want to buy her parents sketches?

Troy contacted at the details that the interested person had provided. Soon they found out that he was an ex-navy seal, William Hamilton. "Do you know him, Athena?" Asked Troy with a puzzled look.

Athena shook her head. "No but my mom's maiden name was Hamilton, " said Athena.

"He could be related to your mom. I'll fix up a meeting with him, " said Troy. Soon Troy met him and found out that he was Athena's own uncle, her mom's brother. He invited him to their home.

Athena met her uncle for the first time. She had never seen her mom's family and she was too young to ask her the reason behind it. Her uncle told her that after their parents death, her mom and he had a fight due to which she left home. Her uncle had gone away on duty and when he returned he searched for her everywhere but in the last thirty years, he hadn't found her. It was only when he Google her name did he find the paintings.

Athena told him everything about her parents and how they died. Her uncle cried a lot hearing about his sister. "She was always headstrong and stubborn. She could have contacted me if she was going through a bad phase. We just fought like all siblings do, it wasn't anything serious. She wanted to sell our parents house while I wanted to keep it forever. I would have given in to her wishes if I knew that I'd lose her forever, " said her uncle. Athena held his hands tightly.

"I know uncle. Mom stubbornly released dad when he asked for a divorce. She could have supported him instead of just granting him a divorce. If she had supported him, they both would have been alive now. Anyway, there's no use crying over spilled milk. This was their destiny," said Athena. Her uncle bonded with the whole family. Athena gave him a few of her paintings. She wouldn't accept any money for them. After all uncle William was her only family and she was glad that they found one another. He visited them often and spend time with Ajax.

As the days went by, Troy and Athena matured more but the love that they shared only grew stronger with each passing day. Ajax started growing naughtier and he became quite a handful for the whole family. Brandon and Camilla visited with their angelic Anthea and everytime they arrived, Ajax was surprisingly on his best behavior. They chuckled seeing his baby ways of impressing a girl. Anthea ignored him usually which made Ajax try harder.

They all got together to plan out a vacation together. Even Laurence and Arianna walked in with their kids. They had bonded with Brandon and Camilla at Troy's wedding.

"We'll fly in my private jet. Just fix up a destination, guys!" Said Laurence.

So the next whole hour they selected and canceled till finally they fixed up on South Island, New Zealand. It was a place nonr of then had been to. They excitedly planned for it.

"I'll turn this into a second honeymoon after dumping Ajax with Brandon, " whispered Troy in her ear with a grin and a wink.

Thus there never was a dull moment in their lives. Troy and Athena knew how to live life to the fullest despite all the ups and downs that they would go through. With such wonderful people around them it wasn't a hard task to do.

As Athena looked forward to her second honeymoon, who knew she might conceive Cybele, her baby daughter this time! And as destiny would have it, she wouldn't be surprised if Camilla too conceived Eros at the same time! So let's wish them all the happiness in the world! May they live this way amidst lots of love, happiness and laughter.
