A Hopeless Pursuit (Forbidden Love Series Book 10)

 

His tongue glided along her lips tasting them gently. His hot mouth tasted hers, sucking, biting onto her delicious lips as Lisa stood like a statue not knowing what to do.

"Kiss me," he ordered huskily. Lisa's arms went around his neck and she opened her mouth to kiss him back but he simply plunged his tongue deeper into her. His hand went to her hips and pulled her closer. A soft moan escaped her as his tongue played with hers, tasted every recess of her mouth and drove her crazy. She never knew a kiss could be so heavenly. This was her first kiss on the mouth. Leo pecked her cheek many times and she always pushed him away.

She tried to kiss him back the way he was kissing her. Liam was lost in the kiss. He had kissed many experienced women but this innocent kiss from a young teenager had him floored. It was clear that she didn't know how to kiss even! He would teach her everything himself. Liam reluctantly broke the kiss as the both needed to catch their breaths.

"Dinner should be ready. Come let's go downstairs, " he said holding her hand and leading her downstairs. He saw her red cheeks and her plump red swollen mouth. She did look thoroughly kissed and he was sure that it wouldn't escape his mom's and Kathy's eyes.

They went to the dining room and sat down. Kathy smiled at them and served them their dinner. "Your mom's talking to your aunt on the phone, " she informed Liam. They were nearly halfway through with dinner when his mom came to the table.

"Sorry, I was held up. Why are you eating so less, Lisa? Kathy serve her the steak," said Eugene Parker.

"I'm full aunt Eugene, " said Lisa shyly. The food was very homely and delicious. It wasn't rich and spicy like the food at her house.

"No, you'll vanish if you eat so less," she scolded. Lisa felt a motherly love in her tone and she didn't object anymore. Kathy served her a piece of steak and she finished the delicious food in no time.

"Liam, eat the asparagus. This boy's still a kid, he still hates his veggies," said Eugene Parker. Liam's ears turned red with embarrassment.

"Mom please," he stared at his mom with disbelief.

Eugene Parker and Lisa both laughed at his antics and he quickly ate up the stir-fried asparagus on his plate.

"There, happy?" Asked Liam.

"Yes, thank you, son," said his mom indulgently. "It's late, drop Lisa home, Liam, " she said and Liam nodded.

"Come on, I'll drop you home," he said to Lisa. Lisa got up and thanked Liam's mom and left with Liam to his car. He helped her to the passenger seat of his Ferrari and drove to her house.

"Tomorrow I'll come down by 12 noon at your house. Okay?" He asked. She nodded.

"You remember your promise to play the violin for me?" Asked Liam.

"Yes," she said shyly. The kiss was all she could think about now that they were again alone in the close confines of the car. One kiss and she was hopelessly attracted to Liam Parker. Did he feel the attraction too? Maybe, she wasn't sure. He was so good looking and so much older than her, surely he had kissed many women who were better than her inexperienced self. She felt a pang of jealousy thinking about the women he had kissed.

"So, you remember our dinner date. Don't you?" Asked Liam as he parked in front of her house. Lisa stared at him with her mouth hanging open.

"It's just dinner, isn't it?" She asked. She had never gone out on a date. She had no idea what people did on a date.

"No, it's a date, " he corrected her softly.

"Oh, then what do I do on a date?" She asked worriedly. Liam laughed at her cuteness. She'd never gone out on a date too.

"Nothing we just eat and enjoy ourselves, " he told her with a smile.

"Okay," agreed Lisa. "Bye, I'll see you tomorrow then," she said, stretching her hand to open the car door.

"Lisa, " Liam's husky voice stopped her and she looked at him with curiosity. "Won't you give me a kiss before you go?" He asked her with deep longing.

Lisa blushed and looked undecided. Should she kiss him right in front of her house? What if someone saw them?

"Someone will see me from the house," she said with a nervous look on her face.

Liam groaned at his stupidity. He should have stopped midway and took his kiss. "Tomorrow then ?" He asked her with hope.

She nodded shyly and climbed down from his car and with a wave, she went inside her house. She took the elevator straight to her floor to sleep. It was past dinner time and she straight went to her room and locked herself inside. She messaged Laurence that she was home. 

After changing, she lay on her bed and thought about Liam. She realised that she was actually crushing on him. This was something new for her since she hardly liked any guy let alone have a crush upon him. Leo was still trying and so were the guys in her school. They all thought that she wasn't interested in boys and made fun of her friendship with Sofia and Victoria. But Lisa always turned a deaf ear to their mean comments. It was below her dignity to argue with those dumb people who judge others without knowing anything about them.

She blushed at the memory of Liam's kiss. Tomorrow he promised her more. Happy and giddy, she felt asleep,  eagerly waiting for the next day when she could meet Liam again.

The next day, she woke up late as she had no school. After freshening up, she went downstairs. It was now time to face her parents, the thing which she dreaded the most.

Going downstairs, she poured herself a glass of milk and sat down near the window to drink it. Sandra came inside and handed her a couple of her favourite Choco-chip cookies. "I made them for you yesterday, " Sandra said warmly, giving her a hug.

"Thank you Sandra. I come here only because of you and bro," she said softly.

"I know honey," said Sandra. Her mom's loud voice could be heard as she came into the room, her fake laughter filling the whole room. Sandra hurried into the kitchen to get her coffee while Lisa sat sipping her milk.

Her mom disconnected the phone and looked at her with lots of happiness on her face, caked with makeup. Who puts so much makeup so early in the morning. Her dad too came into the room and sat down at the table with a frown on his face.

"Why are you frowning on such a nice day, Harry? " she asked with a genuine smile. Lisa didn't pay any heed to them. The faster she finished her milk, the faster she could disappear from here. 

"What's there to be happy about?" Grumbled her dad. "Laurence froze my bank accounts," he complained.

But his wife wasn't even listening. "We'll deal with that later. Guess who called up just now?" Her mom asked her dad.

"Who?" He asked disinterestedly.

"Eugene Parker, " said her mom excitedly. Lisa looked at her with disbelief. Did aunt Eugene unknowingly inform them of her visit to their house? She dreaded it since all hell would break loose if her mom found out. Her dad too gaped at her.

"What did she want now?" Asked Harry Lennard with interest.

"Liam's coming over," her mom clapped her hands. "Now's our chance to frame him, Harry, " she said and Lisa looked at them with horror. Frame him? How would they do that? She sat frozen on her seat.

"I'm so proud of you Lisa. You have started taking the steps to frame him. Soon all his money will be ours," clapped her mom.

"I can't get head or tail of what you're talking," grumbled her dad.

Lisa sat thunderstruck, not knowing what to say.

"Yesterday Lisa went to the Parker mansion with Liam. Didn't you Lisa? She has already attracted Liam's attention.  Now all she needs to do is get him to have sex with her. Then we could sue the Parker's for rape and underage abuse. They either need to pay up or get Liam to marry Lisa. Then we could draw up a pre-nuptial agreement and demand huge amounts before the wedding would take place. Either way we earn. Today Liam's coming over for lunch. It's the perfect opportunity, " said her mom. Lisa couldn't believe her ears. How could they stoop so low? She couldn't give in to their wish.

"Lisa, you will take Liam to your room and seduce him to have sex with you. Is that clear?" Asked her mom. Lisa's eyes widened with shock. How do you seduce someone? No she would never stoop so low. She liked Liam. She would never help her parents' dreams come true.

She just got up and left the room.
