There, at their doorstep stood three officers, Annalise's uncle, aunt, Erik and Dean. "There he is. He's the one who has kidnapped my neice for money. Arrest him at once officers," screamed aunt Emily, pointing a finger at Nelson.

One of the officers came forward with handcuffs to arrest Nelson. "Nelson Taylor? I'm officer Keighley from the Houston Police Department. I'm afraid I would have to arrest you," he said.

Before Nelson could say a single sentence, Annalise with a vicious scowl on her face, stood in front of Nelson, trying to protect him with all her might. "On what grounds are you arresting my husband, officer?" She asked with a stern yet cold voice.

There was a pin drop silence seeing her stance and more so hearing her words. "Your husband?" Asked the officer.

"She's talking his language. The serpent has her hypnotized under a spell," said her aunt.

"Don't you dare say a word about him aunt Emily. Watch your words, " said a furious Annalise. Nelson watched her, mesmerized by the way she defended him, ready to fight anyone who came her way. It touched him deeply. In fact, her uncle and cousins too watched her, too dumbfounded by her reaction.

More cars skidded to a halt and more footsteps could be heard approaching the cabin.

"Yes, we got married yesterday, legally. We love one another, officer. I refused to be manipulated into a forced marriage by my aunt, so I ran away from her. I'm an adult and have every right to marry who I want," stated Annalise. Nelson took out their marriage papers and handed them to the officer. At that very moment his dad uncle Henry, uncle Benjamin, Stuart, Sean and Nick came into view. The police had informed them that they had been able to track Annalise's mobile phone to this address. They had wasted no time and drove here as fast as they could. Nick had called Carter and he had explained everything to him. They strode inside and Annalise's aunt's face fell. She recognized them instantly since she had a bad experience with them while unnecessarily having their house raided.

"Hello officer, I want to see the arrest warrant first. On what basis can you arrest my son and his wife?" Asked Nelson's dad. He had met the young officer before at his house and didn't need any introduction.

"For abducting my niece and her siblings. Officer, my niece is not in her senses and her siblings are just ten and under our guardianship. This man has abducted them and hidden them somewhere to coax money out of us," said aunt Emily.

"That is all you can come up with?" Taunted Annalise. "Well I'm nineteen and as such I'm solely the legal guardian of my siblings. Officer, my husband Nelson Taylor comes from a good family. He has no reason to do such a heinous act for money. My aunt wanted to force me to marry a rich man so that they wouldn't need to bear our expenses," informed Annalise.

"Aunt Emily, quit it. I'm married already," said Annalise as her aunt scowled at her.

"We're married and henceforth I shall take up all the responsibilities of Annalise and her siblings. You don't need to spend a penny on them. We'll cut all ties with you, " announced Nelson.

"I'm sorry ma'am. There cannot be any arrests made under the circumstances. As both of them are adults and they are already married legally, the case is closed. As for the children, they're the responsibility of the couple now as they are their legal guardians," said the officer. Then looking at the Taylor family he said, "Sorry to bother you.  We were just doing our duty."

The officers left while uncle Henry stated firmly. "I'm Henry Taylor, Nelson's uncle. I take complete responsibility of Annalise and her siblings and welcome her into the Taylor household. Is there any other issues with you ma'am?"

"No Mr Taylor. We have no issues. I'm Edward Martin, Annalise's uncle. I'm willing to contribute Annalise's dad's share and deposit the money into her account for her and her siblings' future," he offered while his wife glared at him, ready to fight.

"I don't want anything from you uncle Edward," bit out Annalise, with hatred. Where was he when his wife was shouting rude words at them?

"You heard her. Me and my family are capable of bearing their expenses for life. Thank you Mr Martin. Now if you'll excuse us, we would like to have a moment with our family. We'd be bothering you once when we go over to your house soon to get their stuff," said Nelson. Erik grumbled and walked out. Dean too followed him. They had been forced to accompany them against their wishes.

"You didn't do the right thing to Colton. His family will be devastated when they find out that you're already married," said aunt Emily.

"He knows. He doesn't want to marry me. He loves another. It's at your insistence that he was going ahead with this half-heartedly, " said Annalise. Aunt Emily's face fell.

"You wasted all our efforts, money everything, " grumbled aunt Emily.

"You didn't spend a single penny on this wedding, aunt Emily," Annalise pointed out.

"I won't leave you for this insult, " she threatened.

"That's enough Emily. Let's go from here," said uncle Edward leading her away as she retaliated, fighting tooth and nail with her husband for offering them money. Everyone smiled at one another with relief after they left.

"So you guys got married without us?" Nick stuck out his jaw, to show his grudge. "Seriously, Nel?" He was hurt.

"Yeah, couldn't you just send a message? We would have attended your wedding in our night suits even," said a hurt Sean and Annalise giggled.

"Yeah, dude, you hurt us," said Stuart.

"Won't you introduce us to your lioness?" Said his uncle Benjamin, looking indulgently at Annalise.

"Well, since Nel is bowled over by so many grudges, let me do the honor. This is Annalise Martin, ex-intern of The Grub Club, first year pursuing the undergraduate degree in Culinary Science," said Henry Taylor. Of course, he knew her.

Everyone's eyes widened and they all came forward and introduced themselves. Nelson's dad coughed to clear his throat. "Will you two continue with your honeymoon or come home with us?" He asked and Annalise covered her heated up face.

"Okay, we'll come home," said Nelson, nudging Annalise to go and pack up the stuff that Sienna had bought for them.

"Yeah, you can continue at home too," said Nick cheerily. "Hey Anna, I can help you," said Nick, walking into the bedroom  with her as Nelson glared at him.

"I need a drink. Don't you have anything here?" Asked Sean.

"Sure, our wedding cake and champagne will do?" Asked Nelson.

"Of course," said uncle Henry.  They all made themselves comfortable. His dad called his ma and updated her. Nelson served them champagne and cake and showed them their wedding photographs.

"You were epic, lashing out at the world for my bro," appreciated Nick. Annalise grinned.

"Am I not awesome?" She asked, handing a suitcase that Sienna left behind to Nick to dump Nelson's clothes.

"That you are but don't think for once that I'll let you go so easily. You have to marry again for me," said Nick. "I'd been dreaming of being Nelson's best man since birth, you guys can't deny me my wish, " said Nick, looking hurt. Annalise laughed.

"Done, we'll marry again and have our wedding night again," laughed Annalise, packing her stuff.

"Haha, aren't you a naughty girl? Talking about that. Tell me, is my twin a panty-ripper?" He asked, after looking around to see if Nelson was around.

"Nick, you're horrid. I'm not answering that, " said Annalise and Nick laughed his ass off. Nelson strode into the room.

"Stop bothering my girl, you sicko. Wait till I complain to Iris, " threatened Nelson. Stuart too walked inside.

"Please don't. She'll punish me and I'd have to sleep on the couch," said Nick and they all laughed. After half an hour, they locked up the cottage and left for home.

"Are you happy to go home? We'll first get your stuff. Then we'll get the kids and then finally home," said Nelson. Annalise nodded.

"I love you Nelson. I'm indebted to you and your family for everything that you're doing for us," she said sincerely.

"Don't thank me please, Alise. We're one for life. We will always be there for one another, right?" He said and Annalise nodded. "I loved the way you fought for me. No one has ever done that before. It made you look so hot. I wanted to take you there and then," said Nelson. Annalise gave him a look.

"That's what was going on in your mind while I was fighting for you?" She asked with an eye roll.

"Yeah, what can I do? I can't seem to get enough of you. In fact I'm dying for all this to be over, so that I can get you under me in our room, on our bed, " he said with a smirk.
