Love Struck (The Taylor Brothers Book 4)

Alexis and Aries did a happy dance seeing a message from Nelson. They quickly broke open their piggy banks and collected all the money that they had. Then Aries stuffed his mobile into his shorts pocket.

"How to get Anna out in twenty minutes?" Asked Alexis with panic.

"I have an idea. I'll sneak out now and wait near the gate of Joggers Park. Then I'll call Anna and tell her that I've hurt myself while jogging. She'll come out and you insist on accompanying her. I'll message Nelson, " said Aries.

"Great idea Aries, " appreciated Alexis. Her eyes shone with excitement. Aries wore his sports shoes and sneaked out when no one was looking. Alexis walked into Annalise's room, casually.

"Are you up, Anna? So what are we doing today?" She asked casually.

"I have no idea," said Annalise in a dull tone. Her phone buzzed with an incoming call from Aries.

"Why is he calling me?" Asked a confused Annalise.

"Oh, he's gone out to Joggers Park. I hope he hasn't landed in any trouble, " said Alexis with a worried expression. Annalise hurriedly took the call.

"You should have taken my permission Aries. What happened to you? Are you okay?" She said in one breath, too worried to even breathe.

"I've just hurt myself. Can you come down and help me please, Anna?" Asked Aries, looking at Nelson, Levi and Carter who stood with him.

"Oh, I'll come just now, " said a worried Annalise, disconnecting the call. She picked up her handbag and slipped her mobile into it and rushed out with Alexis following her. They rushed to Joggers Park and saw Aries standing near the entrance gates.

"Aries, where did you get hurt?" Asked Annalise but froze when Nelson, Levi and Carter appeared from behind the trees nearby.

"You? What are you doing here?" Annalise asked Nelson, her heartbeats increasing as Nelson strode towards her, his eyes glowing with a strange determination. He didn't answer her but picked her up in his arms and carried her bridal style towards his car.

"Nelson?" Asked Alexis with  curiosity.

"I'm abducting your sister to put some sense in her head, Alex. Aries and you can go and stay with my best friend Carter for a few days please. I don't want the two of you to stay alone at your uncle's house. Later when I return I'll take you home. Okay?" Asked Nelson as Alexis did Aries grinned happily.

"Great idea, Nelson. Don't worry at all about us," said Aries. Nelson thanked them and placed Annalise on the passenger seat. Strangely, she hadn't said a word of protest as if she wanted to be abducted. Nelson drove away as the twins climbed into Carter's car and went to a cafe to have breakfast first.

"I want a burger and fries, Carter," said Aries.

"I want pretzels, strawberry milkshake and doughnuts topped with cream," said Alexis. Carter listened to them with his jaws dropped.

"I'm not feeding you two junk food everyday. You'll become sacks by the time they return," said Carter.

"Only this time Carter, please?" Said Alexis with puppy dog eyes and Carter gave in.

"Okay, then today it's junk food for all," said Carter. Levi laughed and ordered chicken nuggets and cinnamon rolls served with the most delicious preserves. They all eyed his food and he glared at all of them. Carter ordered a cheese burst pepperoni pizza and everyone tried to steal his food. It was real fun for the kids. These two friends of Nelson were super cool!

"Nelson where are you taking me to?" Asked Annalise with worry. She didn't get a chance to pack anything for herself. Although she was relieved that she didn't have to marry Colton anymore and that her siblings were safe, yet this was not what she had expected.

"Quiet. Prisoners can't ask questions, " said Nelson with a small smile on his lips. He hadn't imagined that it would be this easy. He had expected her to put up a lot of fight but it seemed that she was relieved to be abducted! She sat casually and just looked out of the window as if they were going on a honeymoon.

"Are you mad at me?" She asked softly, looking at her hands.

"Yes, very much mad. How could you disappear like that? I came over to your house to see and your aunt told me that you had moved into Colton's house," said Nelson.

"You came over to my uncle's house? When?" She asked with surprise.

"I called you too everyday. You had to switch off your mobile phone. How could I possibly reach you? I drove over to your dad's house when Carter told me that you aren't at Colton's place. You weren't there either. Levi kept a watch outside this house. The three of you didn't come out even once.  We were so worried. Only we know what we went through because of you," accused Nelson with displeasure.

"I didn't know that you came over. I just locked myself up in my room," said Annalise. "Aunt Emily might have lied to you." She told him how she had tried to blackmail her that night and everything that happened afterwards. Nelson listened intently.

"You could have confronted me," said Nelson softly.

"Yeah, I'm sorry," said Annalise, looking at the scenes passing by as they drove towards some unknown place. "Are you still mad?" She asked looking at him.

"Yes, you know what can calm me down," he told her. Annalise smiled slightly and looked away. "I'll remain mad if I don't get it," he insisted but she made no move to give him what he wanted. He drove on with a pissed off mood. He couldn't stop the car and kiss her senseless since the marriage officiant would be waiting at the cabin if he reached late. Levi's friend Elton and his wife Sienna  were already there, making arrangements. Nelson had given them their measurements for the wedding dresses and he already had bought the rings when the marriage license was issued. He drove on with a sulk while Annalise glanced at him every now and then to check.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" He asked with a scowl.

"Obviously, it's not everyday that Nelson Taylor abducts an innocent maiden, " she laughed.

"Enjoy while you can, Alise. I'll soon get you and you have no idea what I'll do with you," he threatened, hoarsely.

"My aunt will find you and call the cops on you, " warned Annalise. She didn't trust her aunt at all and knew that she wouldn't let this go so easily. This time however, she swore in her mind that she would fight for her love.

"I don't do amateur stuff, babe. It's a foolproof kidnapping, " said Nelson with a smirk. "But I have to admit that I'm impressed with your two munchkins, Alex and Aries, " he said with an indulgent smile. Annalise smiled too. She had realized that they had planned this with Nelson.

"They've grown up," said Annalise, looking away towards the windows. They had left Houston long back and were headed for the forests. Hopefully her aunt would never find her here.

"What are you frowning at? If you're thinking of an escape route, then forget it. I won't let you escape from me this time. I mean it. I'll make you mine. Completely," he said, his eyes flashing with a strange fire in them.

"I'm not thinking of that," she said. Why would she want to escape the person she loved? He had no idea how glad she was to be able to belong to him, only him. She was glad that the truth came out and she got a chance to tell Nelson how much she loved him. But not in a car. It was too distracting.

"Then what? Don't tell me that you're missing that Colton guy? Your fiancé?" He gritted out. Annalise gaped at him. Now where did Colton come from all of a sudden?

"No," she told him. She had no wish to talk of Colton while Nelson was driving. After all he had a history of getting violent when jealous.

"What no? No to not missing him or no for not wanting to talk about him?" He growled, driving off the road into a narrow path through the woods and stopped, switching off the ignition. Annalise looked around with wide eyes. Had they reached? It looked like the middle of nowhere with nothing but trees all around.

"Where are...?" Before she could finish her sentence her seat belt was unbuckled and she was pulled onto Nelson's hard lap, straddling him, flush against him. Annalise's heart beats started beating wildly, and her breath hitched as his arm held her hostage.

"What are you missing? His kisses or his touch? I can kiss you more passionately, touch you more tenderly. Try me," he whispered hoarsely as his fingers tangled into her soft hair and he angled his head, slamming his mouth to hers in a rough kiss.
