This is a passionate love story of two people who had known one another all their lives. They were best friends but what happens when they get married out of compulsion? Will that passionate kiss at the altar change their lives forever?
Story Summary
Colton Harvey and Valencia Lane had been best friends since birth as their parents were best friends too. After her mother's death, Valencia shifted into the Harvey household since her dad was a Marine Biologist and usually kept away from home. As years passed their friendship grew stronger and the two became inseparable. However Colton met Erik Martin at his college and a good bond of friendship started developing between them. Valencia felt left out and lonely. She realized that what she felt for Colton wasn't just friendship. She had fallen in love with him.
Her heart broke when Colton's parents fixed his wedding with Erik's sister. She left the Harvey's home and went away forever with her unrequited love. Colton missed Valencia after she left and couldn't come to terms with marrying Erik's sister. However, to his relief, she canceled the wedding at the last minute. Colton called Valencia and asked her to marry him to save his family's reputation as the wedding preparations were already made.
So what would Valencia do? Would Colton fall in love with Valencia or would they part after a year? Would they remain only best friends or would they find true love?
