This is a stand alone story of a young girl who struggles with her loneliness and her unrequited love for a man who doesn't even acknowledge her existence.
Story Summary
Alicia Davidson was a struggling musician at a local diner in her picturesque hometown of Bristol, Virginia. After her grandmother's death, twenty year old Alicia didn't have anyone to call her own. She had never seen her parents. She was adopted by a kind old lady whom she called grandma.
One day, an elegant and distinguished old lady heard her sing and liked her so much that she wanted to take her away to her house. Alicia loved the prospect of a change and went with her.
A few months passed by and the lady forced her only son, twenty-eight year old, Nicholas Bentley to marry Alicia. However the marriage was a mistake as Nicholas did not love her. He was eager to get rid of her. What will Alicia do? Will she give him a divorce and move on?
What will she do when she realizes her true love for him, a love that is deep and never ending like an ocean's?
