Chapter Thirty-Six

Nelson hungrily kissed her sweet mouth with his wild kiss, probing his hot tongue inside, devouring her tongue with his own. His cupped her face, his thumb caressing her cheek lovingly, coaxing a response out of her. His other hand went to her hips, pulling her into his body. Her hand slowly went to his chest and the other to his cheek and hair in a soft caress. She had missed him so much after all he was all she had ever wanted. She felt herself seeking the rough caress of his mouth more than ever. She needed him just like the air that she breathed, with every cell of her body. Her hand curled into his shirt, her fingers caressing his skin.

A moan escaped Nelson's mouth. It was as if he had died and gone to heaven. Her soft body so warm and welcoming in his arms, just as he had dreamed of. His mouth was insistent, hos tongue invading her, savoring the taste of her, stroking her tongue again and again till she was unable to resist him any more. She returned his kiss with a passion that she never felt was there inside her. It gave her an overwhelming pleasure and she finally surrendered,  wrapping her arms around his neck, tangling her fingers in the hair at the nape of his neck, shifting her head to deepen the kiss more.

They stayed suspended in that kiss as all the feelings that had been pent-up inside them for a month finally found a vent and they held, clutched onto one another, not getting enough of each other. His hand wandered from her hips upwards to her waist and then up the side of her, cupping her breasts as the kiss went on and on. It was as if time stood still, for two lost souls deeply in love.

"Did he kiss you like that, Alise?" He said with a haunted look in his eyes, his breath stuck in his throat as if his life depended upon her answer.

"No Nelson. I never even held his hand let alone kiss him," she breathed our, breathlessly. Nelson's face calmed down and he looked relieved. He slowly and reluctantly released her and placed her on her seat. Switching in the ignition, he drove down the winding path through the forest to some unknown place far, far away. He didn't speak a word, his face determined as if they had some important task to complete. After twenty minutes of driving, he stopped at a clearing. There was a sparkling blue lake right in front of them, its crystal clear waters reflecting the sun's rays and sparkling like diamonds. A quaint log cabin sat on its edges making her gasp at the picture postcard scenery in front of her. Nelson looked quite satisfied with her response. He parked his car and helped her down.

"Will we stay here for a few days?" Annalise asked dumbly. Nelson smiled and led her towards the cabin, as they went towards the front, Annalise stood mesmerized at what she saw. There was a small makeshift altar erected right on the front yard against the backdrop of the lake. A strand of fresh flowers were bunched at the side and a while flowing fabric was draped across one of the wooden frames to give it a soft look. Wasn't this a wedding altar and arch? Whose wedding had she come to?

"Whose wedding is it?" She asked, unable to contain her curiosity any longer.

Nelson turned to look into her eyes, holding her gaze with a raw sincerity in his own. "Ours," he said softly as he watched for her reaction. Annalise's mouth opened and closed but no word came out.

The door opened and a young couple came out with a welcoming look on their faces. "Hi, you must be Nelson and Annalise, the most happening couple right now?" Laughed Elton, looking at the two of them.

Nelson smiled and shook hands with him,"Yes, and you're Elton, Levi's friend and Sienna, " he acknowledged them. "The arrangements look too good. Thank you for your help," said Nelson.

"You'd better hurry up and get ready. The officiant should be arriving in ten minutes, " said Sienna. "Come Annalise, I'll get you ready." It all seemed like a dream to Annalise. She couldn't believe that she was getting married like this all of a sudden. Was she dreaming? Nelson looked at her with concern. He hadn't planned it this way at all but he wouldn't take any risk of being separated from her again.

"Are you okay, Alise?" He asked a dazed Annalise. She nodded and walked into the cabin with Sienna, followed by Nelson.

"You get ready in the store room, dude. Sorry there's only one bedroom, " said Elton apologetically. Nelson laughed.

"Oh no problem at all. Thank for everything that you're doing for us," said Nelson.

"No big deal. Levi's friend's mine too," he said with a grin.

"Friends," they fist bumped. Elton helped Nelson get ready. He would get his bank details later and pay him back for all the expenditures.

Annalise loved the simple yet beautiful satin, sleeveless dress with long flowing fabric swirling at her feet. The thin satin band around her waist and the crystal embellishments around the neckline made the dress too extravagant. Sienna brushed her hair till it shone and fixed a jeweled comb fixing her hair away from her face. She produced matching crystal earrings and fixed them on Annalise's ears. "You look so natural and beautiful," said Sienna, admiring her beauty.

"Thank you. You've done a lot for us," she said sincerely. Sienna had applied very minimal makeup on Annalise since she didn't need it. She handed Annalise a bridal bouquet consisting of blush pink, red and white roses with lots of greens.

"Wow, this is really happening. I'm getting married!" Said Annalise, as she tried to grasp the feeling that she was actually getting married to the crazy man of her dreams. He hadn't even asked her to be his girlfriend, he hadn't even proposed and yet here he was marrying her all of a sudden. Only Nelson could be like that. Smiling she walked outside the bedroom towards the altar. Elton's brother Carl brought the marriage officiant along with him.

Nelson stood at the altar wearing a black tuxedo, looking exceptionally gorgeous. His eyes gazed at her as if he was mesmerized by what he saw, not even blinking once. He actually couldn't believe that he was finally getting married to the girl of his dreams. Elton offered Annalise his arm to escort her down the aisle.  Sienna was on her other side, holding onto her hand.

"C'mon Annalise, let's get your married, " she said. They led her down the aisle towards the altar where Elton handed her over to Nelson. Carl stood beside him with the wedding rings as his best man. They as strangers were doing more for them than her own uncle and his family ever did. The wedding ceremony started and was kept simple and minimal. Soon the vows were made and the rings exchanged and they were declared man and wife. Nelson dipped her and kissed her full on her lips after all now they were married and she was legally his.

After the officiant left and they took photographs. Later Sienna led everyone inside and brought out a huge cake.  They cut the wedding cake and everyone congratulated them. "There's a wedding lunch prepared. The pantry and the refrigerator's loaded. Help yourselves. The clothes you had asked me to get are there in the bedroom. Enjoy your honeymoon, guys," said Sienna, handing them the keys. Carl dismantled the arch and decorations and loaded everything onto his truck.

"Thanks for everything, " said Nelson. Elton and Nelson exchanged numbers and went outside to talk about the payment details while Sienna and Carl enjoyed a slice of the wedding cake.

After ten minutes, they left the place, leaving Nelson alone with his bride. He locked the main door and turned towards his bride. "Hungry?" He asked knowing that she hadn't eaten any breakfast since morning since he'd whisked her away. Annalise nodded shyly unsure of what hunger he was talking about. She was actually both. Humgry for food as well as hungry for him. So yes to both.

"Let's eat then," he said coming towards her. Was he going to eat her? She stood like a statue as he came towards her and then winked,"I'll eat you later. " he whispered into her ear. Annalise blushed crimson. Was she so open like a book that he could read her so easily? He held her hand and lead her towards the kitchen. There was a lot of food to choose from but for the time being they took out the pork chops and lasagna and served themselves. Nelson opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

"Each other's for life, " he toasted. Annalise smiled. Her husband was crazily adorable. She loved him for just what he was,

"Don't just smile. Eat and gain strength for what's to follow, " he warned, his eyes staring at her hungrily.
