Back To You (Forbidden Love Series Book 6)

It's been a week and River had nicely settled down in Tyler's house. They would be visiting her family in Fordsville today and would fly to Paris from there for their honeymoon.

They left for the airport and boarded their flight to Great Falls, Montana. River was too excited. She had informed her mom that they would be visiting for two days and the whole family was excited. It was nearly noon when they reached the airport at Great Falls.

Fordsville was a small town just a fifteen minutes drive away. Her granddad's ranch was located at the far edge of Fordsville in the heart of the Rocky Mountains at the base of the Continental Divide. It was a picturesque place surrounded by mountains, fields and forests with a clear sparkling river running through it.

They reached Wildcreek Ranch in twenty-five minutes. It was lunchtime already and they were famished. The whole family welcomed them and hugged Tyler accepting him in the family.

"Welcome to our world, Tyler, " said her granddad, Joe Wilson. He patted Tyler on the arm.

"Hope you like the food. River guided us over the phone about your likes and dislikes, " said her granny, Jenny Wilson.

River introduced her grandparents to Tyler and he hugged them. River then led him to her parents and introduced her dad, Kevin Wilson and her mom, Katherine Wilson. They hugged him too. "Russell and Rowland say a lot about you Tyler. I'm so happy that River chose someone like you," said her dad.

Tyler smiled warmly,"I'm happy that she chose me, dad," he said and his dad instantly started liking him more.

River led him to her uncle Keith and aunt Ruth Wilson and their children, Rhett, Rex and Rihanna. She introduced her uncle Kendrick and aunt Helena and their twins Ryan and Ryder and daughter Renee.

Tyler was smiling inwardly already at the ordeal. Her family was huge and he had already forgotten their names. Then she introduced her uncle Kennedy who looked after The Imperial with her brothers.

"I'm obligated to you for what you're doing for The Imperial, Tyler. We'll repay you but it will take some time," he said but Tyler declined.

"No uncle, I did everything for River. I got her and I don't want anything else. Please, I insist, " he requested, "I'm just like your son. "

"Fine then, come home frequently. Rhett's wedding's next month. Both of you have to come home to attend it," said uncle Kennedy.

"Done, uncle. We'll be here," said Tyler and Rhett grinned happily.

"Adelaide agreed?" Asked River and Rhett smiled. Rhett used to love a woman named Adelaide who used to study with his younger sister Rihanna. After her college, she found work in New York and left Fordsville forever. It had been nearly four years, but Rhett still loved her. He refused to move on. He was devastated to hear that Adelaide was getting married but she cancelled her wedding and returned to Fordsville forever.

"Yes, finally ," he said.

"After a lot of drama from her ex fiancé, mind you," said granny with a chuckle.

"All's well that ends well," River said and they all agreed.

She introduced Tyler to uncle Kennedy's wife, aunt Charlotte and their children, Raine and Ronald.

Finally they went up to their rooms and freshened up before joining the whole family for lunch.

Lunch was just over when an extremely handsome cowboy came galloping on his black stallion to their doorstep. He seemed to be in a hurry and came inside, filling the entire space with his presence.

"Sorry to bother y'all. Miss Rihanna, Robbie's uncontrollable today. He hasn't eaten anything since yesterday. Could you please help me?" He asked Rihanna as everyone looked at each other.

Rihanna jumped up, it was obvious that she was nervous around him. "Let's go," she said.

"I need to go and see Robbie, granddad," she said to her granddad and he nodded.

She left with him. River saw how he stared at her all the way to his stallion. He hoisted her up with his strong hands and climbed up behind her, riding away.

"What was that?" Asked River in confusion.

"That's Hunter Bradshaw, he and his six year nephew, Robson are whipped with Rihanna. She is Robson's class teacher and he only listens to her. So Hunter whisks her away with him all the time. Why he doesn't marry her already, God only knows. Rihanna too likes him. She spends more time at his house than here," said aunt Ruth.

River and Tyler chuckled. So he's the one for Rihanna then.

The next two days went by in a daze amidst lots of fun and bonding and it was time to say their goodbyes and leave for their honeymoon.

A new life started for them, a life they both had dreamed about for the last nine years of their lives. Both were glad that they had gone back to the one they loved. It seems dreams really do come true.
