Epilogue
The wedding preparations were done as per their expectations. Jade and Karen helped their dad. Rosalie went regularly to have a chat with Jaden's dad. After returning from their honeymoon, her parents were ecstatic to hear the news of their engagement. They also helped with the wedding preparations. Ryan and Ryder too helped. It was a joint effort and finally the wedding day arrived.
Rosalie was staying at her parents house from the night before while Jaden was staying at his dad's house. They both got ready for their wedding day. The bridal party trooped in to get Rosalie ready.
Rosalie wore a beautiful court train tulle gown with cap straps and lace applique all over the bodice. She matched it with a net and lace applique veil. She wore Jaden's mom's diamond earrings to match with it. Jaden's dad and personally gifted it on behalf of his mom. She wore a small delicate diamond bracelet to match the wedding dress. It was a wedding gift from Jaden. Jade fixed her hair in curls around her shoulders and pinned one end with a jeweled comb.
"You're looking extremely beautiful, honey," said her mom, wiping tears of joy.
"Thank you mom," she said hugging her parents.
Her dad and mom accompanied her to the wedding venue. They had decorated the garden beside the swimming pool with garlands and balloons. They constructed a beautiful circular arch in the middle of the garden and draped it with white flowing tulle fabric. Ferns and pink hydrangeas, roses and bougainvillea decorated the circular arch. Rose petals were strewn all over the aisle. The chairs had white ribbons and floral garlands tied at the backs.
The bridal procession started with Jade, her maid of honour followed by Karen and Juliette as bridesmaids walking with Jayson and Xavion who were the groomsmen. Jaden looked dashing in a dark blue tuxedo with Ryan and Ryder on either side as his best men. Jaden had to choose both to make them happy. Her mom and dad walked her down the aisle and placed her hand in Jaden's.
The wedding ceremony started and Rosalie and Jaden finally became one in the eyes of God. Jaden kissed his wife and thus started their journey as man and wife.
A warm family get together was organised after the wedding ceremony. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. The first dance made the newlyweds emotional. Even Juliette and Xavion joined in followed by Karen and Jayson. Jaden thanked Xavion for his motivational speech that night which convinced him to pursue Rosalie.
The dinner was delicious and so was the cake. After the speeches were over, Jaden whisked his wife away for the wedding night. Juliette left with Xavion and her baby. Karen and Jayson too left immediately as the babies were getting cranky. The rest of the guests enjoyed the party.
Jade connected with Ryan and Ryder and told them about the love of her life, Dustin. She didn't want them to waste time on her. The three of them bonded as friends. Ryan and Ryder would leave the next day and return to their college in Houston.
Rosalie and Jaden came back home and quickly got out of their wedding fineries. They made gentle love and lay down beside each other thinking and coming up with names for their babies.
They were glad that God had blessed them with everything that they had dreamt of. They silently said a thank you prayer to the Almighty before going to sleep.
